1/72 DH.94 Moth Minor Coupé ‘Travel and Sport Plane’

The De Havilland DH.94 Moth Minor was designed as an affordable two-seat sport and touring aircraft for private pilots and flying clubs. Introduced in the late 1930s, it followed on from de Havilland's successful 'Moth' range, which became synonymous with British light aviation. The Moth Minor was characterised by its simple handling, economical operation and elegant appearance, making it a popular choice for recreational flying and basic training. The Coupé version offered an enclosed cabin for two passengers, increasing comfort on longer flights and extending the machine's utility in less favourable weather. The aircraft was built in several hundred units and some of them were transferred to military service for communications and liaison tasks after the outbreak of war.
