1/72 Bf 109G-6 "JG.300"

The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the basic fighter aircraft of the Luftwaffe from the late 1930s until the end of World War II. Developed in the mid-1930s by Bayerische Flugzeugwerke under the direction of Willy Messerschmitt, it became the backbone of the German fighter force during the war. A total of approximately 34,000 machines of all versions were produced, and from 1942 onwards it was gradually supplemented and partially replaced by the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 type, and towards the end of the war by the Messerschmitt Me 262 jet.

The Bf 109 G-6 variant, introduced into service in 1943, was one of the most numerous versions of the entire "Gustav" series. Compared to previous versions, it brought the possibility of more powerful armament and modifications to suit the needs of the troops, and is easily recognizable by the distinctive machine gun covers on the top of the engine cowling. The machine was deployed in both fighter and fighter-bomber roles and formed an important part of the defence of the Reich and frontline units.

AZ Model (cat. AZP7202) in 1/72 scale is part of the Premium series and offers finely crafted plastic parts suitable for faithful reproduction of this version. Included in the package are spray masks for the cockpit overlay and front plate, which and decals for 4 different JG 300 themed decals. The finished model has approximate dimensions of 161mm span and 138mm length. The package does not include the paints or adhesives needed for assembly.
