Trumpeter 1/700 USS Tennessee BB-43 1941 depicts the lead ship of the Tennessee class as of 1941, when two cage masts defined her profile. Damaged at Pearl Harbor, she was rebuilt in 1942–1943 in a way that changed her silhouette considerably.
The kit contains alternative parts for full hull or waterline, the deck, clear parts, OS2U Kingfisher floatplanes and a display stand. A photo-etched fret adds fine detail, and the decals cover hull number 43, US flags and aircraft insignia. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
