1/700 Russian Navy Typhoon class Submarine
Hobby Boss 1/700 Russian Navy Typhoon class Submarine is a plastic kit of the largest submarine ever built. The Project 941 ballistic missile submarine comes with decals and a display stand. Paints and glue are not included.
The Project 941 boats, known by the NATO reporting name Typhoon class, are the largest submarines ever built. Six were completed in the Soviet Union in the 1980s; they carried ballistic missiles in tubes ahead of the sail between two pressure hulls and were designed to operate under the Arctic ice.
The kit depicts the full hull with its twin stern propulsion units. The decals include draught marks, rescue markings and national insignia, and photos of the finished model show the boat on its stand. According to the box, the finished model is 245.2 mm long and 42 mm wide. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
