Trumpeter 1/700 USS San Francisco CA-38 1944 is a plastic kit of the American New Orleans-class heavy cruiser. It can be built full hull or waterline, and clear floatplanes and a stand are included. Paints and glue are not included.
USS San Francisco was a New Orleans-class heavy cruiser. After heavy damage in the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal in November 1942 she was repaired and modernised and returned to action in the Pacific in 1943–1945. The kit depicts the ship as she appeared in 1944.
The kit contains the upper hull, lower hull and a waterline plate, several sprues with superstructure, turrets and armament, a clear sprue with floatplanes, a display stand and decals.
The small 1/700 scale yields a compact cruiser that complements a collection of WWII US Navy ships. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
