1/48 SBD-2 for ACADEMY kit
The Eduard SBD-2 Dauntless 1/48 is a color photo-etched set designed for the Academy model kit. It adds fine metal parts for the pilot’s and gunner’s stations, colored instruments and consoles, as well as selected details of the engine, landing gear, and airframe that cannot be reproduced with the same subtlety in plastic.

Working with photo-etched parts
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a stable surface, bend them according to the instructions, and test-fit them before gluing. Use a small amount of cyanoacrylate adhesive to secure the parts; standard polystyrene glue will not bond to metal.
A plastic model kit is not included in the package. The scope of the set corresponds to the enclosed Eduard instructions. Choose a suitable model glue.
