Hobby Boss 1/48 P-51D Mustang IV is a plastic kit of a fighter from the Easy Assembly range. Thanks to its long range, the bubble-canopy P-51D Mustang escorted American bombers over Europe. The Royal Air Force adopted this version as the Mustang IV.
According to the manufacturer this Easy Assembly kit has more than 40 parts, two of them clear: a one-piece canopy and the gunsight. The decals cover G4-E “Missouri Armada” flown by Capt. John B. England of the 362nd FS, 357th FG USAAF, and Mustang IV KM272 QV-V “Dooleybird” of No. 19 Squadron RAF, May 1945. According to the box the finished model is 205 mm long with a 236 mm wingspan. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
