MiniArtP-47N-1RE Thunderbolt (Advanced Kit)is a detailed kit of the final development version of the famous "Thunderbolt", which was created for long-range escort and fighter-bomber missions in the Pacific theater. The N-1RE variant introduced a new wing with a larger span, squared-off ends and increased fuel supply, while retaining the typical robustness of construction and powerful armament of previous versions. The kit features fine engraving and riveting, a fully detailed cockpit, the option of open or closedoverlay, etched parts (including belts) and clear parts for the cockpit and lights, complete with decals for 3 marking options.
The P-47N-1RE Thunderbolt was the ultimate version of the famous American fighter-bomber, designed for long-range flights over the Pacific during World War II. A new wing with a longer wingspan and squared-off tips allowed for greater range and a larger fuel capacity, making this variant an ideal escort aircraft for bombers as well as an effective fighter. Modelers will appreciate the precise surface details, fine riveting, realistically rendered cockpit, and the option of an open or closed canopy. The kit includes photo-etched parts for maximum detail accuracy, clear parts for the cockpit and lights, and decals for three different aircraft.
