Hobby Boss 1/48 MiG-31M Foxhound is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The MiG-31M was an extensively reworked development of the MiG-31 interceptor with a new radar, revised cockpit and new weapons. Only a handful of prototypes were built and the version never entered series production, making it a less common subject from the end of the Cold War.
The manufacturer lists over 370 parts. The cockpit is detailed, the undercarriage is metal, the wheels have rubber tyres and photo-etched parts add fine details. It makes a counterpart to production MiG-31s in a collection of Soviet and Russian aircraft. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
