The Eduard Meteor FR.9 1/48 is a color photo-etched set designed for the Airfix model kit. It adds fine metal parts for the cockpit, including a pre-painted instrument panel, consoles, controls, and small cockpit details that cannot be reproduced with the same subtlety in plastic.
The Eduard Meteor FR.9 in 1/48 scale is a color-coded photo-etched set designed specifically for the Airfix kit. The set enhances the cockpit, including the pre-painted instrument panel, consoles, controls, and small cabin details, using thin metal parts that replace or supplement selected plastic components.

Working with photo-etched parts
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a stable surface, bend them according to the instructions, and test-fit them before gluing. Use a small amount of cyanoacrylate adhesive to secure the parts; standard polystyrene glue will not bond to metal.
The plastic model kit is not included in the package. The scope of the set corresponds to the enclosed Eduard instructions. Choose a suitable model glue.
