1/48 MC.205 recommended for Hasegawa
Yahu Model YMA4810 is an etched 1:48 scale dashboard panel for Italian Macchi C.205 Veltro fighter aircraft. The panel is color printed to faithfully display the dials and controls and is designed to be directly mounted without modification (JustStick technology). The kit is designed for Hasegawa kits.
The Macchi C.205 Veltro (Greyhound) was an Italian single-engine fighter aircraft that was a direct development of the successful C.202 Folgore. The main change was the more powerful Fiat RA.1050 RC.58 Tifone engine - an Italian licensed version of the German Daimler-Benz DB 605A - which enabled the Veltro to reach a top speed of over 640 km/h (640 mph) and made it one of the best Italian fighters of the entire war. It entered operational service in mid-1942 and served mainly over the Mediterranean and in Italian airspace. Despite its excellent flight characteristics, it was built in relatively small numbers (approximately 250-300), mainly due to Allied raids on Italian industry and material shortages. After the Italian Armistice in September 1943, some of the machines went into service with the Italian Social Republic and German forces. The C.205 was able to counter even the best Allied types, such as the P-51 Mustang or Spitfire, and in the hands of experienced pilots it achieved significant results.
Yahu Model YMA4810 is a 1:48 scale etched dashboard designed for Hasegawa kits. The panel is made using a chemical etching technique from thin metal and features a colourful print of dials, scales and controls that faithfully replicates the real C.205 cockpit. The assembly is designed with the JustStick system - the part is ready for direct insertion in place of the original plastic panel without the need for further shaping or modification. The kit is designed exclusively for Hasegawa 1:48 scale kits.
