The Grumman F6F Hellcat was a US Navy carrier-based fighter that from 1943 played a major part in winning air superiority over the Pacific. The most numerous version, the F6F-5, also served with the British Fleet Air Arm as the Hellcat Mk.II. The sprues correspond to the Eduard F6F-5 / Hellcat Mk.II kit in 1/48 scale.
The box contains plastic parts exclusively; Eduard does not include decals, instructions, photo-etch or masks in this edition. The sprues are therefore mainly for modellers who have markings and instructions from another source, or for those looking for parts for a conversion.
