Hobby Boss 1/48 F4F-4 Wildcat is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The F4F-4 Wildcat has three machine-gun positions in each wing and narrow landing gear retracting into the lower fuselage. This release offers a VMF-223 aircraft from Guadalcanal in 1942 or an aircraft of an unidentified American training unit in mid-1943.
Six sprues hold 73 grey and seven clear parts. The cockpit includes a seat, control stick and instrument panel; the nose has a representation of the radial engine and its cowling parts. The landing gear and its mounting are detailed, and underwing fuel tanks and decals for both listed options are included. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
