The Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VI was a heavy twin-engined multi-role aircraft of the British Royal Air Force (RAF), which was used as a night fighter, torpedo bomber and attack aircraft during World War II. The Mk.VI version was one of the most widely used and successful variants of the entire Beaufighter family - it was equipped with Bristol Hercules VI or XVI engines and carried armament tailored to the specific operational deployment, from guns and machine guns to torpedoes and rockets. This version served on European, Mediterranean and Pacific battlefields and left a distinctive mark, particularly in RAF Coastal Command operations against Axis shipping.

The Yahu Models YMA4829 kit is a 1:48 scale photo-etched accessory designed as a direct replacement for the plastic dashboards from the Tamiya kit. The parts are photo-etched from thin metal and pre-printed in colour at the factory - a technology referred to as JustStick - requiring no additional painting of instruments, dials or controls. Just cut out the part, shape it slightly if necessary, and glue it in place. The result is a significantly more believable and detailed cockpit than a standard plastic design, without the need for advanced painting skills. The kit is designed exclusively for Tamiya kits, ensuring exact fit without modification.
