1/48 ARSAERO CT-10 Target Drone

The ARSAERO CT-10 was a French target drone developed after the Second World War, the design of which was based on reverse-engineering of the German Fi 103 missile, better known as the V-1. Whilst the original model served as an offensive weapon during the war, the post-war CT-10 found a role as an aerial target — that is, an unmanned aerial vehicle designed for training and testing air defence and guidance systems. Thanks to its affordability and simple design, it spread beyond France’s borders and was also adopted by the United Kingdom, Italy and Sweden, making it an interesting example of the post-war utilisation of technologies derived from the V-1’s design.

For modellers, the CT-10 represents a less common subject, complementing the usual range of combat aircraft with the category of target drones and unmanned aerial vehicles. It is a 1:48 scale kit produced using 3D printing technology. The pack contains decals for the French aircraft and for the Royal Navy version, allowing you to build the model in two different variants.
