Hobby Boss 1/48 Antonov An-2/An-2CX Colt is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The An-2 is a post-war Soviet single-engine biplane powered by the ASh-62 radial, designed to operate from short grass strips. It served as a transport, agricultural and paradrop aircraft and was built in huge numbers, including in Poland and China. The An-2CX (SKh) designation belongs to the agricultural version with spraying equipment.
Ten grey sprues and one clear sprue provide a detailed cockpit and a cargo cabin with a ceiling and optional seating. The cockpit and cabin doors can be left open, the cowl flaps are open or closed, and the rudder and elevators are positionable. The undercarriage takes either wheels or skis. Decals cover Soviet 802 and Chinese 50076, plus generic numbers for other airframes. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
