Hobby Boss 1/48 A-6A Intruder is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The carrier-based Intruder attack aircraft seats its two crew members side by side. Decals offer VA-115 Eagles aboard USS Midway, NF507/BuNo155715, and VA-35 Black Panthers aboard USS Enterprise, NG510/BuNo152940.
More than 510 parts on sixteen sprues are complemented by metal landing-gear legs and photo-etched details. The cockpit has a separate clear windscreen and canopy. The outer wings are separate at the folding joints, with individual flap and slat parts. Supplied stores include Mk20, Mk81, Mk82, M117 and GBU-8 bombs plus centreline and wing tanks. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
