1/350 Admiral Kuznetsov
Trumpeter 1/350 Admiral Kuznetsov is a plastic kit of the Soviet aircraft carrier with its ski-jump bow. Carrier aircraft and helicopters, decals and a stand with a name plate are included. Paints and glue are not included.
Admiral Kuznetsov is a Project 1143.5 aircraft-carrying cruiser with the forward flight deck raised into a ski jump. She was commissioned into the Soviet Navy at the very end of the Cold War, in January 1991, and later became the Russian Navy's only aircraft carrier.
The kit includes the ship with a separate lower hull and a stand bearing the name KUZNETSOV. The air group comprises Su-33, MiG-29K and Yak-141 aircraft and Ka-27 helicopters, with decals for red stars and numbers; a further sheet carries the flight deck markings and the ship's name with pennant number 063.
The Yak-141 never progressed beyond the prototype stage, so the aircraft mix reflects the kit contents rather than a documented operational air group. The model's distinctive silhouette sets it apart from American catapult carriers. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
