1/35 US Navy LCM(3)
Trumpeter 1/35 US Navy LCM(3) is a plastic kit of the American WWII landing craft. Photo-etch, decals, cord and wire are included; the tank and figures shown on the box are not. Paints and glue are not included.
The LCM(3) was one of the US Navy's mechanised landing craft that carried troops and vehicles straight onto the beach during the Second World War. Its well deck could take a tank, which drove off over the hinged bow ramp.
The lower hull is a one-piece moulding, completed by sprues with the ramp, deck, steering position and propellers. The photo-etched fret includes machine-gun mounts, and cord, wire and decals with craft numbers (including PA13-2) are supplied.
The 1/35 scale lets you combine the craft with vehicles and figures in the same scale for a landing scene; the tank and figures from the artwork are sold separately. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
