1/35 U.S.Medium Tank M4A3 (76)W
Meng 1/35 U.S. Medium Tank M4A3 (76)W is a 1/35th scale plastic model construction kit of the American medium tank. This version of the famous Sherman was equipped with a more powerful 76mm gun and wet ammunition storage, which greatly increased its combat value during World War II.
The M4 Sherman tank was the backbone of the U.S. armored forces during World War II. The M4A3 (76)W variant appeared in 1944 as a response to the growing threat posed by heavily armored German tanks, particularly the Panthers and Tigers. The new 76mm gun gave the Shermans better armor penetration and improved their chances in direct combat. The “W” designation stood for “wet stowage,” which significantly reduced the risk of explosion upon being hit.
The M4A3 (76)W was deployed primarily during the final phase of the war in Europe and became one of the most widespread and effective versions of the Sherman. Thanks to its reliability, ease of maintenance, and solid armament, it was able to effectively support Allied infantry while also holding its own in armored engagements. After the war, it continued to serve for many years in the armies of numerous countries around the world.
This 1/35 scale Meng kit offers a detailed reproduction of this iconic machine, including a realistically rendered hull, suspension, and the characteristic turret with a 76mm gun. It is ideal for modelers who want to build one of the most important Sherman variants.
The package does not include the paints or adhesives needed for assembly.
