The Pz.Sfl. Ia, equipped with a 5 cm Pak 38 cannon mounted on the chassis of a VK3.02 ammunition tractor, represents an interesting experiment in German armored vehicle development during World War II. The vehicle was created by modifying an ammunition tractor for the needs of airborne and infantry units, and was equipped with an effective anti-tank cannon. Modelers will appreciate the detailed workmanship and the opportunity to build a unique vehicle that never made it into mass production but remains an attractive rarity for any collection.
