Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf. J was the last mass-produced version of the iconic German medium tank deployed during World War II. Produced at Nibelungenwerk from September to November 1944, this medium production run represented a series of modifications aimed at both simplifying production and extending combat life. Tanks of this series were fitted with additional armour plates, but at the same time lost some complex components such as the electric turret drive.
