The M1128 Mobile Gun System (MGS) is a variant of the Stryker wheeled armoured vehicle developed for the US Army as a mobile platform for direct fire support of infantry. Built on the eight-wheel Stryker chassis, it is armed with a 105 mm cannon, capable of destroying fortified positions, light armoured vehicles and other targets on the battlefield. A key advantage of the entire Stryker family is its rapid deployability, mobility and ability to operate on roads and in urban terrain — thanks to this, the M1128 has become an important part of the US Army’s Stryker Brigade Combat Teams.

The ‘After 2008’ version reflects modifications made on the basis of operational experience in Iraq and Afghanistan. These upgrades focused primarily on reliability, durability and easier maintenance, whilst the vehicle retained its powerful weapon system. For modellers, the M1128 is particularly attractive due to its distinctive appearance — a low-profile turret with a 105 mm gun and the characteristic eight-wheel Stryker chassis.

The kit includes interior details that allow you to explore the vehicle’s internal layout, photo-etched parts for a finer finish, a set of 8 rubber tyres and a functional suspension system for a realistic ride height. Hinged hatches allow a view into the interior compartments, and the included decal sheet offers a choice of markings.
