1/35 Padlocks

Miryoku photo-etched padlocks in 1:35 scale add a small but clearly visible detail to crates, cabinets, gates, chains, and technical equipment in dioramas. The photo-etched design preserves the subtle dimensions that are difficult to replicate in plastic.

Recommended Procedure

1. Cut the padlock away with a sharp scalpel and smooth the cut edges with a fine file.
2. Depending on the scene, leave it flat or very carefully reshape it.
3. Do not glue it in place until after the main assembly of the model is complete, to avoid damaging this small part.
4. Enhance the metallic sheen with a dark wash and, depending on the setting, add traces of rust or scuff marks.

Use model paints for the final color finish; attach photo-etched parts with a small amount of cyanoacrylate adhesive. Neither the model nor the cargo are included in the package.
