The Soviet T-34/85 medium tank, introduced into service in late 1943 and early 1944, was the answer to the new German heavy tanks such as the Tiger and Panther. With thicker armour and an 85mm gun, it represented a balanced combination of firepower, mobility and durability. In the final phase of World War II, the T-34/85 took part in combat directly on German territory, where it played a key role in the capture of cities. Maintenance and repair in field conditions was an essential part of their operation, often taking place directly on the front line.
The 1/35th scale MiniArt set "Dresden 1945. T-34/85 Field Repair. Big Set" offers a complete diorama depicting the scene of a tank's field repair during the last days of the war. It includes a highly detailed plastic model of the T-34/85 with open or closed hatches, eight Soviet figures in dynamicposes, a base with paving blocks, road signs and a lamp, as well as photo-etched parts for fine detail. The decals provide several variations of the tank's markings. Designed for the more experienced modeler, this set allows you to create an authentic and impressive 1945 scene.
