1/32 J2M Raiden recommended for Hasegawa

The Mitsubishi J2M Raiden (Allied codename "Jack") was a Japanese single-engine fighter aircraft designed specifically for the point-defender role, with an emphasis on rapid ascent and high speed at low and medium altitudes. Unlike more maneuverable types such as the A6M Zero, the Raiden was designed as an interceptor designed to defend against American bombers. Its compact fuselage, powerful Mitsubishi Kasei radial engine, and heavy armament (typically four 20mm cannonsmade it a formidable adversary in the final phase of the war on the Pacific theatre.
