Lord of Virulence is the embodiment of Nurgle's will and corruption in the Death Guard armies. These mighty warriors specialize in deploying the most vile diseases and plague weapons to fight the enemy. Their primary goal is to spread plague and suffering, whether on the planetary or tactical battlefield level. They are clad in decaying terminator armor that protects them from harm while streams of pus and plague ooze from it. Their presence on the battlefield demoralizes enemies and spreads infection. The Lord of Virulence's special skill is coordinating artillery strikes and air raids, ensuring that nothing escapes Nurgle's grasp.
This kit from Games Workshop captures the essence of the depravity and brutality that typifies Nurgle and his followers. The Lord of Virulence model is lavishly decorated with Nurgle symbols, rusted and decaying armor, and other details such as horns, festering boils, and chains. The miniature is armed with the Fist of Virulence, a modified version of the Terminator's power fist, and the Twin Plague Spewer, a weapon capable of unleashing devastating streams of plague. A 50mm round base is included for the model.
