The grains have been selected to perfectly mimic dry, chalky white and alkaline soils where even the roughest machines crave shade. Key Point - Pebble Discipline: this texture is loose, wild and independent. In order for it to stay where it's supposed to, and for your diorama not to spill at the first touch, you need to anchor it firmly. Use a good quality fixing medium (such as Vallejo Terrain Fixer) to apply after the granules have been poured in. The fixer will soak into the pebbles, solidifying them by capillary action and ensuring a permanent, matt and realistic surface. Your model can then safely fight dust and heat!

This grit is great for rendering fine dust layers and pathways. With Alkaline White, your model gets a stamp of authenticity - as if it has just returned from a mission where every drop of water was fought over.
