Orks: Runtherd And Gretchin

Runtherd and Gretchin represents the core unit of the Ork army in Warhammer 40,000 - the small, cowardly but surprisingly useful Gretchin under the control of the brutal Runtherd. Gretchin (also called "Grots") are the smallest and weakest members of Orcish society, often used as cheap labor, ammunition carriers, weapon handlers, or simply as human shields. Although individually weak and cowardly, in hordes they can overwhelm the enemy with sheer numbers. The Runtherd is an Orc charged with keeping the Gretchin in line through intimidation, kicking, and the occasional "educational" spanking with his "grot-prod" - a rod with an electric spike.

This multipart plastic set includes 10 Gretchins and 1 Ork Runtherd with a wealth of customization options. The set offers 12 different head variations for the Gretchins, allowing you to create a horde with unique expressions - from scared and cunning to aggressive and goofy. For Runtherd, there are 2 head variants that capture typical orcish brutality and arrogance towards lesser kin. Thanks to the multipart design, Gretchins can be assembled in a variety of poses, adding dynamism and variety to the unit.

The models are designed in 28mm scale, which is the standard for Warhammer 40,000. The Gretchin are characteristically small and hunched, while the Runtherd is significantly larger and more massive, emphasizing the hierarchy in Ork society. The set includes a 32mm round base for the Ork Runtherd and 25mm round bases for all 10 Gretchins.
