Nighthaunt: Spirit Hosts

The Spirit Hosts are one of the most fearsome Nighthaunt units in the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe. These ethereal beings are a gathering of tortured souls that have been bound together forever by the dark magic of Nagash, the Great Necromancer. Spirit Hosts hover over the battlefield like misty specters filled with despair and hatred, their mere presence freezing the blood in the veins of the living and their touch draining the life force of their enemies. These ghosts are the remnants of those who have committed terrible crimes in life or died in agony, and are now condemned to eternal torment as instruments of death.

The Spirit Hosts model captures the ethereal and horrific essence of the Nighthaunt faction. Each Spirit Host is depicted as a writhing mass of spirits with expressive faces full of suffering, trailing shrouds and billowing shreds of cloth that evoke supernatural movement. The sculptural components allow for the assembly of three separate Spirit Hosts, with each model offering room for detailed painting - from ethereal color transitions to ghostly effects to highlighting individual faces and draperies.

The kit includes three Citadel 50mm round bases to provide a stable base for these floating creatures. Spirit Hosts function in Nighthaunt armies as fast and durable units capable of traversing terrain and ignoring many physical obstacles due to their ghostly nature. Their ability to demoralize enemies and inflict moral damage makes them a valuable addition to both tactical game scenarios and themed armies focused on horror and the supernatural.
