Hobby 2000 80007 Precision Masking Tape 4mm x 18m

Hobby 2000 80007 Precision Masking Tape 4 mm x 18 m is a narrow, precision masking tape for model painting. The 4 mm width makes it easy to create straight edges, define thin strips, and mask fine details without having to cut wider tape by hand.

What it’s good for

• straight camouflage transitions, colored stripes, and lines
• Masking panels, frames, edges, and smaller areas
• Brush and airbrush work on plastic models, miniatures, and dioramas

Recommended Procedure

1. The surface must be clean, dry, and the base coat must be fully cured.
2. Apply the tape without creases and carefully press down the edge that will define the color boundary.
3. It is better to apply several thin layers rather than a single wet layer, which could seep under the mask.
4. Once the paint has set or dried, peel off the tape slowly at a low angle.
