F4F-4 Wildcat late 1/48
Brand: EDUARD

The Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat was the U.S. Navy's primary deck-based fighter aircraft during the early stages of the war in the Pacific. The F4F-4 version, deployed from 1942 onwards, was equipped with folding wings and six machine guns, allowing more aircraft to be carried on aircraft carriers, albeit at the cost of reduced performance.

Eduard F4F-4 Wildcat late 1/48 scale kit from ProfiPACK edition (cat. 82203) offers detailed plastic parts with fine engraving, color etched accessories for interiorr, pre-cut masks for the cab and wheels, and decals for six authentic camouflage schemes. Variants offered include the machines of pilots such as Lt.(Jg) Dean S. Laird (USS Ranger, October 1943), Lt.(Jg) William E. Eder (USS Santee, November 1942), Ens. Leroy Childs (VF-11, Guadalcanal, May 1943), Lt. Philip H. Torrey Jr. (USS Independence, June 1943), Ens. Leroy Childs (VF-11, Guadalcanal, May 1943) and others.

Designed for modelers with an interest in WWII aviation, this model offers a high level of detail and historical accuracy.

The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
