1/72 Messerschmitt Me 262 A-1a

The Messerschmitt Me 262 A-1a "Schwalbe" represented a major technological breakthrough in aviation history as the world's first combat-deployed jet fighter. It entered Luftwaffe service in the final phase of World War II and its performance far exceeded that of the Allied piston fighters. The A-1a variant was a single-seat fighter version designed primarily to destroy bomber formations, armed with MK 108 guns and later with R4M unguided missiles. Although its operational deployment was limited by the circumstances of the end of the war, the Me 262 became a symbol of the advent of jet aviation and a forerunner of post-war designs.

The 1/72nd scale Arma Hobby kit is a completely new project from 2025 and emphasizes maximum shape fidelity, correct geometry and a high level of detail. The package also includes an Arma Jig assembly jig for precision moulding of parts, metal ballast for thefor proper model balance, cockpit masks and decals for three historical camouflage variants, including the post-war Czechoslovakian Avia S-92. The kit is designed to be assembled and painted independently and is a top choice for modelers interested in World War II and post-war era jet aircraft.
