1/72 Messerschmitt Me 262 A-1a
Arma Hobby 1/72 Messerschmitt Me 262 A-1a "Schwalbe" is a brand new kit from the 2025 moulds, depicting the first production jet fighter to enter combat service. Based on Arthur Bentley's highly accurate 3D base, the model offers exceptionally faithful shapes, fine detail and a thoughtful construction that combines high accuracy with a modeler-friendly build.
The Messerschmitt Me 262 A-1a “Schwalbe” was the world’s first mass-produced jet fighter and marked a major turning point in the history of military aviation. Its speed and performance far exceeded those of the piston-engine fighters of the time, making it a feared adversary of Allied bombers. After the war, it also served in the Czechoslovak Air Force as the Avia S-92.
The Arma Hobby 1/72 scale kit has been completely redesigned based on precise 3D data and offers exceptionally accurate shapes, fine details, and a well-thought-out design for easy assembly. The model includes cockpit masks, a metal nose weight, a stand for precise assembly, and decals for three historical variants, including the postwar Czechoslovak version. A code to download 3D-printing add-ons is also included.
