Death Guard: Deathshroud Bodyguard

The Deathshroud Bodyguards are the most loyal and feared personal guards of the Death Guard Legion, one of the original Space Marine Legions, which has fallen to the corruption of Nurgle, the God of Plague. These elite Terminators never leave their masters’ side, particularly Mortarion himself and his highest commanders. Clad in massive Cataphractii armour and shrouded in clouds of toxic spores, they march unhesitatingly towards the enemy and, with tireless patience, destroy anyone who dares to threaten those they are sworn to protect.

The Deathshrouds’ signature weapon is the manreaper – a giant scythe powered by daemonic energy, whose blows cleave through both armour and the very soul. Their presence on the battlefield spreads fear and decay, for these warriors embody the relentless, rotting tenacity of the entire Death Guard legion. They withstand injuries that would have long since brought anyone else to their knees, serving as a living shield between their commander and death.

The set contains 51 components for assembling three models and comes with three Citadel round bases, 40 mm in diameter. The models are designed in 1:56 scale, which is the standard for the Warhammer 40,000 game, and offer plenty of scope for detailed painting – from corroded armour and organic Nurgle-inspired details to highlighting weapons and equipment. The Deathshroud Bodyguards are a superb addition to any Death Guard army, whether for use in games or as an impressive painting project and display piece for fans of the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
