Washing is a technique whereby a diluted paint is applied to a selected area, crevice or contour to highlight detail and add depth to the model once dry. Unlike a filter, a wash is more concentrated and expressive.
Washes from the Wargame range are formulated to make it easier to work especially on large areas where conventional diluted acrylic paints dry quickly, can leave unwanted edges and, due to the surface tension of the water, are harder to flow into hard to reach areas. This product has optimum consistency and surface properties, allowing it to cover the surface evenly and settle reliably in details.
