When creating game bases for wargaming or sci-fi dioramas, it is often necessary to step outside the confines of the classic brown clay. The AK-Interactive Plague Ground (AK1217) offers a unique visual effect of greenish soil that evokes the presence of toxic substances, mold, rot, or a thick deposit of microorganisms. This product is the perfect choice for armies of chaos, infested zones in post-apocalyptic worlds or for depicting the damp, inhospitable surfaces of distant planets.

The greenish hue of the texture creates an immediate impression of an unhealthy environment. The mass is designed to create a realistic, irregular surface when dry, which contrasts well with industrial elements (wrecking, pipelines) or figures in dark or metallic colours.

Product details and working tips

Wargame Terrains textures are popular for their high quality, excellent opacity and easy handling.

• Easy to apply. The texture is dense and allows you to create different levels of terrain and unevenness right as you apply.

• For maximum effect, we recommend adding grass clumps, mosses (e.g. Realistic Green Moss) or special slime effects to this surface. By combining with different types of vegetation, you will achieve a truly organic and repulsive look of the infested terrain.

• Drying time: drying time depends on the thickness of the applied layer. Once fully cured, the surface is durable and ready for further patination (washes, drybrush).

• Finishing: Although the texture is coloured, it can be further finished with acrylic paints after drying to achieve greater colour variation.

Important note: The package does not contain paint or glue for additional vegetation. Water is sufficient to clean the tools after working with this acrylic texture.
