AK Tools Drill Bits Set 1 is a basic set of precision drill bits designed for modelers who need to create small holes when building plastic models. The seven drill bits cover the most commonly used diameters from 0.2 to 0.8 mm, which corresponds to the typical detailing needs of aircraft and military models - for example, for installing antennas, pitot tubes, machine gun barrels, tow ropes, lighting, or for attaching photo-etched parts.
The drills are designed for use with a shank, which allows for comfortable and precise guidance when drilling. They can be used with the original AK9006 shank or any compatible drill shank from other manufacturers. The shank is not included and must be purchased separately.
The kit covers successive diameter steps (0.2 / 0.3 / 0.4 / 0.5 / 0.6 / 0.7 / 0.8 mm), allowing you to precisely select the hole size to suit your particular accessory or detail. Fine drill bits of this type require careful handling - drilling perpendicular to the surface, gentle pressure and gradual penetration through the material is recommended to avoid breaking the tip.
