AK Terrains Resin Stagnant Water Components is a two-component epoxy resin with a total volume of 180 ml (120 ml resin + 60 ml hardener) designed to simulate stagnant water in dioramas, scenes and models. The resin has a low odour, mixes at a ratio of 2:1 and sets in approximately 24 hours. Two syringes are included for accurate dosing. Recommended layer thickness is up to 5 cm.
AK Terrains Resin Stagnant Water Components is a two-component, low odor, colored epoxy resin developed for realistic simulation of stagnant water in model dioramas, mockups and scenes. The product is supplied in a total volume of 180 ml, with resin and hardener packaged separately (120 ml resin + 60 ml hardener). Two syringes are included for easy and accurate dosing.
The resin is mixed in a 2:1 ratio (two parts resin to one part hardener). The components must be mixed thoroughly, and it is recommended that mixing be done carefully to avoid trapping air bubbles. The curing time depends on the thickness of the poured layer and the ambient temperature, usually approximately 24 hours. The recommended maximum thickness of one layer is up to 5 cm. The resin should be poured into a closed space without cracks to prevent leakage of the liquid material.
The product is suitable for creating standing water, pools, puddles, flooded areas or other water features on a scale appropriate to dioramas of military and civilian equipment, aircraft, ships or figures.
