1/72 Stirling Mk.III one-sided express fit mask for Italeri
ASK 1/72 Short Stirling Mk.III one-sided Express masks for the Italeri plastic kit. An extensive sheet with masks numbered up to 91 covers the outer side of the cockpit glazing and other clear parts of this four-engined bomber.
One-sided set ASK 200-M72088 from the SCALE MASK range contains one sheet with masks numbered up to 91 for the outer side of the clear parts. Besides angular masks for individual panes, it carries rounded and oval shapes and small masks; the bottom row consists of four large circular masks numbered 91. There is no WHEELS section.
The Short Stirling was the first four-engined bomber introduced into RAF service during the Second World War, in early 1941. The Mk.III of 1943 received more powerful Bristol Hercules engines and a new fully glazed FN.50 dorsal turret. From late 1943 Stirlings moved to secondary duties such as minelaying, paratroop drops and glider towing. The masks are shaped for the Italeri plastic kit in 1/72 scale.
