1/72 Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-15 one-sided painting mask for IBG
ASK masks in 1/72 scale for the IBG Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-15, made as a one-sided self-adhesive set. Seven masks cover the canopy glazing, and the WHEELS section holds six wheel masks.
The masks are an in-house ASK design, drawn directly for the clear parts of the IBG Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-15 kit in 1/72 scale. The D-15 belongs to the late, so-called long-nose D series of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 fighter. The D versions differ at first glance from the radial-engined Fw 190 A by their lengthened nose with an inline engine; the first production version, the D-9, entered service in September 1944.
Sheet ASK 200-M72037 from the SCALE MASK range carries masks 1–7: the rectangular panel 1, triangular pieces 2 and 3, the curved frames 4 and 5 and two long narrow strips, 6 and 7. The WHEELS section contains ring masks B22 and B23, two of each, and two small A16 masks. The masks are shaped for the IBG kit in 1/72 scale; the D-9 set is 200-M72036.
