1/48 Mil Mi-17 Hip-H one-sided express fit mask for Trumpeter
ASK masks for the Trumpeter Mil Mi-17 Hip-H in 1/48 scale come as a one-sided Express Fit set. One sheet covers the outer side of the cockpit windows and smaller clear parts, with ring masks added.
The set is an original ASK design, created specifically for the Trumpeter Mil Mi-17 Hip-H kit in 1/48 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M48187 from the SCALE MASK range carries large masks for the front and side cockpit windows 1–5, paired frame masks, the pair of masks 8 and 9 with an oval cut-out, the rectangular mask 12, circular masks 18 and 19, and four larger and four smaller ring masks (22 and 21). The one-sided layout is intended for the outer face; the double-sided version is 200-M48188.
Mi-17 is the export designation of the helicopter that the Russian armed forces call the Mi-8MT. Compared with the earlier Mi-8 it has more powerful TV3-117MT engines and a tail rotor moved to the port side; besides transport it also serves as a gunship or airborne command post. The masks are shaped for the Trumpeter Mi-17 kit in 1/48 scale.
