1/48 Ki-44-II HEI SHOKI double-sided express mask, self-adhesive and pre-cut for Hasegawa
ASK masks in a double-sided self-adhesive Express version, made for the Hasegawa Ki-44-II Hei Shoki in 1/48 scale. They cover the cockpit glazing outside (1–10) and inside (11–20), and wheel masks complete the set.
ASK designed these masks itself, targeting the clear parts of the Hasegawa Ki-44-II Hei Shoki kit in 1/48 scale. The sheet of double-sided set ASK 200-M48122 carries the EXTERIOR section with masks 1–10 next to the INTERIOR section with masks 11–20 for the inner side of the frames. The bottom row is a WHEELS section with four wheel masks and two smaller masks, marked with the Hasegawa kit part numbers (J12, K1). The one-sided version is 200-M48123.
The Nakajima Ki-44 Shoki, codenamed Tojo by the Allies, was an Imperial Japanese Army fighter designed as an interceptor with the emphasis on speed and rate of climb. Late in the war it was used in the defence of Japan against American B-29 bombers. The masks are shaped for the Hasegawa plastic kit in 1/48 scale.
