1/48 Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 double-sided mask for Airfix
ASK masks for the Airfix Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 in 1/48 scale are double-sided. They mask the canopy on both the outer and inner side, and the sheet adds circular masks.
ASK derived the shape and size of each mask straight from the clear parts of the Airfix Sea Fury FB.11 kit in 1/48 scale, so the set is its own design. Sheet ASK 200-M48049 from the SCALE MASK range is laid out in three fields. Outer masks 1–7 cover the windscreen and canopy, while the INTERIOR section with masks 8–14 repeats the same shapes for the inside of the frames. The vertical strip on the right holds circular masks marked with kit part numbers (D22, D23, D24 and one more).
The Hawker Sea Fury was a carrier-borne fighter of the British Fleet Air Arm and one of the last piston-engined fighters in Royal Navy service. The FB.11 was the main production fighter-bomber version and flew from British carriers in the Korean War. The mask shapes follow the clear parts of the Airfix Sea Fury FB.11 kit in 1/48 scale.
