1/48 AICHI B7A1 double-sided express mask for Hasegawa
ASK masks in a double-sided self-adhesive Express version, made for the Hasegawa Aichi B7A in 1/48 scale. The pre-cut, numbered masks cover the canopy glazing inside and out, and wheel masks are included.
The masks are an in-house ASK design made precisely for the glazing of the Hasegawa kit in 1/48 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M48128 from the SCALE MASK range carries two identically arranged groups of glazing masks, numbered 1–30 and 31–60 – one for the outer side and one for the inner side, so the frames seen from inside the cockpit stay clean as well. The long, multi-panel canopy is covered mainly by rectangular and trapezoidal masks. The WHEELS section holds four circular wheel masks marked F2 and F3. The one-sided version is 200-M48129.
The Aichi B7A Ryusei, codenamed Grace by the Allies, was a two-seat carrier-borne torpedo and dive bomber of the Imperial Japanese Navy. It entered service in late 1944, only 114 were built, and with the carriers largely lost it operated mostly from land bases. The masks are shaped for the Hasegawa kit in 1/48 scale.
