IBG 1/72 Wheels for Gotha Go-242A is a 1/72 scale set containing detailed wheels for the German WWII transport glider Gotha Go 242A. Designed to replace simpler kit parts.
The German Gotha Go 242A transport glider was built in the early 1940s as a replacement for the smaller DFS 230. Thanks to its robust construction, it could carry up to 23 soldiers or equivalent cargo. The glider was deployed on supply flights and airborne operations, especially on the Eastern Front and in the Mediterranean. It took off towed behind transport aircraft and landed on fixed landing gear, which in the Go 242A version consisted of fixed wheels.
The 1/72nd scale IBG kit includes finely crafted wheels to replace the standard kit parts.
