The Vickers Wellington became one of the symbols of the RAF's night bombing raids against Nazi Germany. After heavy losses in daylight operations at the start of the war, the RAF switched to thetype to night raids, in which Wellingtons played a key role during the first half of the war. Later they were reassigned to Coastal Command, where they acted as anti-submarine aircraft.

Wellingtons served not only in British squadrons, but also in units of foreign volunteers - the Czechoslovak 311 Squadron, Polish, Canadian and New Zealand units.

The kit includes six frames of grey plastic parts, a frame of clear parts, a resin exhaust and a generous sheet of decals. This offers a choice of five different machines - two from Polish squadrons (including one in anti-submarine camouflage), two RAF versions (including an aircraft purchasedby King Nana Sir Ofori Atta I of the Gold Coast - today's Ghana) and one of the most famous - the Czechoslovak 311. RAF squadron.

Paint and glue not included. Ideal choice for lovers of WW2 history and RAF aviation legends.
