1/72 PZL.24B/E
Brand: FRROM

PZL.24 was a modern Polish fighter monoplane with an upper wing configurationgull wing type, designed by engineer Zygmunt Puławski and developed in the mid-1930s. In the mid-1980s. The machine was powered by a radial engine and was characterised by good climbability and manoeuvrability. Although Poland itself did not eventually operate the type, the PZL.24 became a major export success and served in several countries in the Balkans and the Middle East.

The PZL.24B version was intended for the Bulgarian Air Force, which entered service in 1937 and operated it until the early 1940s. The PZL.24E variant was exported to Romania, where it was assigned to combat units and used in the defence of Romanian airspace in 1941. Both types were already partially obsolete by the time of World War II, but they were still an important part of the air force that operated them.

The 1/72nd scale FRROM plastic kit offers finely detailed paneling, a detailed cockpit, a realistic engine and a selection of parts for both export versions - the Bulgarian PZL.24B and the Romanian PZL.24E. Included are decals for both countries' machines, complete with colour instructions and paint schemes. The model is suitable for modellers interested in interwar export aircraft and lesser known WWII types.

The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
