1/72 L-159A/E Alca "Special Markings"
KPM 1/72 L-159A/E Alca "Special Markings" is a 1/72 scale model of Czech light combat aircraft. The L-159, produced by Aero Vodochody since the late 1990s, has served in the Czech Air Force as a multi-purpose machine for training, light combat missions and ground troop support. The kit offers special markings, decals for three machines, masks for easy painting and 3D printed parts.
The L-159 Alca light combat aircraft was built in the second half of the 1990s at Aero Vodochody as a modernized successor to the proven L-39 Albatros. The aircraft was equipped with the American Honeywell/ITEC F124-GA-100 engine and modern avionics, which allows it to perform advanced pilot training tasks as well as attack and reconnaissance missions. Thanks to its modular armament, the L-159 can carry bombs, unguided missiles, guns and advanced guided missiles.
The L-159A became the main operational version, which was inducted into the Czech Air Force's armament in 2000. The two-seat variant L-159E is intended for training and has expanded the aircraft's capabilities. The aircraft participate in domestic and international exercises and represent a key asset of the Czech tactical air force.
KPM's 1/72 scale kit offers detailed versions of both the L-159A and E variants. Included are decals for three different markings, paint masks and 3D printed parts to increase the level of detail. This allows you to build an attractive replica of a contemporary Czech fighter aircraft in special markings.
The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
