1/72 F-14B Bombcat

Great Wall Hobby's 1/72nd scale F-14B "Bombcat" offers a detailed rendition of the upgraded F-14 Tomcat variant, which has been modified for attack missions in addition to its traditional role as a fighter aircraft. Introduced into service in the 1980s , the F-14B was equipped with more powerful General Electric F110 engines, greatly increasing its reliability and overall performance.

The biggest change from earlier versions was the ability to carry a wide range of precision-guided munitions, earning it the nickname "Bombcat". In addition to standard air-to-air armament, the aircraft could carry GBU-24 Paveway III laser-guided bombs, JDAMs and otherwhich allowed it to be used effectively in conflicts such as the Gulf War and operations in Afghanistan.
