1/72 Eurofighter Typhoon exhaust nozzles new Revell kit (03952, 03884/03818)
Aires 1/72 Eurofighter Typhoon exhaust nozzles new Revell kit (03952, 03884/03818) is a resin kit for plastic kits Eurofighter Typhoon by Revell in 1:72 scale. It includes detailed exhaust nozzles that replace the simplified parts from the original kit and greatly increase the realism of the rear of the aircraft. Suitable for modellers who want to achieve a higher level of detail. Package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a modern multi-role fighter aircraft developed by a consortium of four European countries - Great Britain, Germany, Italy and Spain. It entered service in 2003 and still forms the backbone of the air forces of these countries and other users. The Typhoon is designed for air superiority, but has gradually acquired capabilities for attacking ground targets. Its hallmarks include a delta wing with canard surfaces, powerful EJ200 engines and advanced avionics. For modellers, the Typhoon is an attractive modern type with clean lines and interesting technical details, particularly in the engines and exhaust nozzles.
The resin add-on from Aires brings replacement exhaust nozzles to Revell 1:72 scale kits (catalog numbers 03952, 03884/03818). Original plastic parts are often simplified or insufficiently deep, which detracts from the overall impression in modern aircraft with prominent engine sections. This addition offers precision-cast details with finer texture, deeper internal structures and a more realistic shape to match the actual EJ200 engine nozzles. Installation requires removal of the original parts and bonding of the resin replacements - usually recommended to use instant glue or epoxy suitable for resin.
When working with this accessory, it is advisable to first rinse the nozzles in warm water and detergent to remove any separator residue from the mould and then check the accuracy of the fit to the kit fuselage. Painting can be done in shades of metallic grey and steel tones, with an emphasis on the heat discolouration (burn marks) around the edges of the nozzles that are created when the engines are running. Subtle highlighting of panels and dirt will give the rear of the model an authentic look.
The add-on is compatible with newer versions of Revell Eurofighter Typhoon 1:72 scale kits and is designed for modelers with basic resin conversion experience. The package does not include the paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
